Lower Back Pain From Sitting

Are you experiencing back pain from sitting all day long? Want to know how to get rid of that pain that has been plaguing you? Here are some ways that I have found that work for me. First, I change my seating position to where I am at a computer but not at the computer. Second, I use these tips when I’m sitting on a couch or bed to help reduce my back pain.

Have you been sitting all day long? Do you have stiff shoulders, or a hurting back? I don’t deal with back pain at all anymore, but you don’t have to! If you want relief from stiff neck or painful shoulders, or both, you can!

One of the best ways to deal with stiff necks and painful shoulders is to correct your posture. The way that I do this is by making sure that I always sit in a good posture. If you aren’t used to sitting in a good posture, and you find yourself with a bad back pain, then you need to start. When you’re ready, take a yoga class or sign up for a Yoga DVD. This will help strengthen your spine and improve your posture.

After doing some stretching and warm-ups, I then get a good posture and sit in the office chair for most of the day. At night, I either lie down in bed or try to sleep sitting up, but I keep my back straight and my head up. I don’t move much during the day, so I don’t tend to develop bad posture habits like I used to. You need to make some changes to your sitting and sleeping habits if you want to stop suffering at night from sitting.

Another way to help reduce the pain from sitting all day long is to strengthen your core. The core is the muscles of the stomach and back. These are great at helping you to sit up straighter, but if they are weak, you can’t support your back properly. To strengthen these muscles, I simply sit on my haunches and lift my legs up and arch my back as far as possible. Doing this for just fifteen minutes a day can really help you.

If you have back pain from sitting, then you should definitely take the time to talk to your doctor about it. He or she can help you work out a solution for your problem. You need to be aware that there is more than just one cause for this type of pain. Most often, it’s caused by poor sitting mechanics (i.e. an unnatural position).
